[ The Head And The Heart X Tacoma Rainiers ] Rainier Original Jersey

The Rainier Original Jersey brings the collaboration onto the most iconic canvas in baseball. Vertical striping runs across the navy body, while Tacoma’s red script “R” is placed at the chest and a mountain-inspired patch adds another reference to the landscape that gave the Rainiers their name. The button-front construction and contrast details keep the piece grounded in traditional ballpark design. The back replaces a standard player name and number with the collection’s original illustrated character, wearing its own Rainiers cap and turning the jersey into a complete piece of wearable artwork. The design captures the collection’s central idea: the communal spirit of a hometown show expressed through the language of Tacoma baseball.

The Head And The Heart are a Seattle-rooted indie folk band formed in 2009, whose story began in open-mic performances at Ballard’s Conor Byrne Pub before their self-titled debut became a breakthrough release through hometown label Sub Pop. The Tacoma Rainiers are a Pacific Coast League team established in 1960, the Triple-A affiliate of the Seattle Mariners since 1995, and the longtime residents of Cheney Stadium.
